LogicMind (GetIt.) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information about you when you use our mobile application (the "App") and our website (collectively, the "Services").

Information We Collect

1. Information You Provide to Us

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect personal information such as your name, email address, and password.

Profile Information: You may also provide additional information for your profile, such as a profile picture, location, and bio.

Payment Information: If you make purchases through the App, we collect payment information such as your credit card number and billing address.

2. Information We Collect Automatically

Usage Information: We collect information about your use of the Services, including the type of device you use, access times, pages viewed, and your IP address.

Device Information: We collect information about your device, including hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.

Location Information: We may collect information about the location of your device each time you use our App, if you allow this through your device settings.

3. Information From Third Parties

We may receive information about you from other sources, such as social media platforms, when you choose to link your account or interact with us through these platforms.

4. Collection of UGC

When you use our Services, you may create and share content, such as text, images, and videos (collectively, "User-Generated Content" or "UGC").

We collect and store UGC that you submit, post, or display on or through our Services.

5. Use of UGC

We may use UGC to operate, maintain, and improve our Services, including to display your content to other users.

UGC may be used in promotional materials or marketing campaigns, but only with your explicit permission.

6. Sharing of UGC

Your UGC may be shared with other users of the Services, depending on your privacy settings and the nature of the content.

We may also share UGC with third parties for purposes of operating and improving our Services, complying with legal obligations, and protecting our rights and the safety of others.

7. Control of UGC

You have control over your UGC and can manage, delete, or modify the content you have submitted through your account settings.

If you request deletion of your UGC, we will take reasonable steps to remove it from our active systems. However, residual copies may remain in our backup systems for a period of time.

How We Use Your Information

8. We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our Services;
• Process transactions and send you related information;
• Send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages;
• Respond to your comments, questions, and requests, and provide customer service;
• Communicate with you about products, services, offers, promotions, and events offered by us and others, and provide news and information we think will be of interest to you;
• Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our Services;
• Display advertising within the App through third-party ad providers (see the Advertising section below);
• Improve the Services based on aggregated usage trends and user feedback.

Location Data

Because GetIt. is a location-based reminder app, location is the most sensitive data we handle, and we treat it accordingly. This section describes in detail what we collect, why, and what we do not do with it.

• GetIt. collects your device's precise location when you grant location permission.
• Location is collected while the app is open and in the background when the app is closed or not in use, so the app can notify you when you are near your saved items.
• Location data is sent to our secure backend only to match against your saved items and nearby places. It is never sold, shared with third parties for advertising, or used for any other purpose.
• Motion and activity data (where permitted by your operating system) is used only to reduce how often we check your location, in order to save battery. It is not used for advertising, analytics, or profiling.
• You can revoke location and motion permissions at any time from your device settings. Revoking these permissions will disable the corresponding features of the app.

Community Map Contributions

GetIt. lets you optionally contribute a place you have saved to OpenStreetMap, a public map database that anyone can use. This is the one case where something you created in the app is published outside our Services, so it works differently from everything else described in this policy.

• Nothing is ever contributed automatically. You start each contribution yourself, and you confirm before it is submitted that you know the place from personal experience.
• What gets published: the name you typed for the place, the coordinates of the pin you tapped, and the category you chose from a fixed list. Nothing else.
• What never gets published: your name, email address, account identifier, saved items, reminders, or any other part of your account. Contributions are uploaded under our dedicated LogicMind OpenStreetMap account rather than under your identity, and nothing published points back to you.
• The published point is the pin you placed on the map yourself, not a reading taken from your device. Your device location history is never contributed and never leaves the Services.
• Every contribution is reviewed by a person before anything is published. We may accept it, decline it, file it as a public note for local mappers instead, or adjust it for accuracy.
• Publication is permanent. Once a contribution is on OpenStreetMap it is public data under the Open Database License, free for anyone to copy and redistribute, and we cannot recall it. You can withdraw a contribution in the app at any time before it is published. Deleting the saved place, or your GetIt. account, does not remove anything already published.

Section 5 of the App Licensing Agreement sets out the rights you grant us when you contribute a place, and how we handle contributions is documented publicly on our OpenStreetMap organised editing activity page.

Sharing of Information

9. We may share information about you as follows:

• With vendors, consultants, and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf;
• In response to a request for information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with any applicable law, regulation, or legal process;
• If we believe your actions are inconsistent with our user agreements or policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of LogicMind or others;
• With your consent or at your direction.

Notwithstanding the above, we do not share your location data, motion data, or your saved items with third parties for advertising or other non-operational purposes. Service providers who process this data on our behalf (for example, backend infrastructure and analytics providers) are contractually bound to use it only to operate and improve the Services. The single exception is a place you choose to contribute to OpenStreetMap, which is published at your direction and only in the limited form described under Community Map Contributions above.

Advertising

The App displays advertisements supplied by third-party ad providers. These providers operate under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

• Ad providers may use device identifiers and other information they collect to serve relevant ads, subject to the ad-personalization controls offered by your device and operating system.
• We do not share your location data, motion data, saved items, or account content with ad providers.
• Where required by law (for example, in regions with applicable consent requirements), ad providers will serve non-personalized ads based on the applicable regional defaults.
• You can limit ad personalization at any time through your device's advertising settings.

Data Retention

10. We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

Your Rights

11. Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• The right to access your personal information;
• The right to correct or update your personal information;
• The right to request the deletion of your personal information;
• The right to object to the processing of your personal information;
• The right to request the restriction of processing your personal information;
• The right to request the transfer of your personal information.

Security

12. We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

13. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you a notification).
